Thanks. Hv tried it; they do not carry many ...
I was looking for that series some time back, can't find. Got some Hardy boys books instead and then realised my DS didn't like them at all.hh2:
I am looking for The Three Investigator by Alfred Hitchcock... anyone has any idea ? Did try out Bras Basah but couldn't get any. Even try to get ebook version but also no luck too :<
I remember coming across this series a long time ago. Most bookstores do not carry them anymore. Amazon might have this series.
Nowadays, kids have very different taste for books - they do not like mystery stories like our days, they prefer fantasy type of stories dealing with demi-god, different worlds, teen spies, etc. I think it has to do with the computer games they are playing  -
This is my first bookfest, previously my sis will take leave to help me lug back stuff. I like it. Got Time for Kids, science guide books and some english books including TAS vocab book. I have not had time to go in again after being in there for about 45 mins. Went for short while, now kids asking me to bring them elsewhere. I may go again on Sunday. Sorry cannot update much but variety of books is great! Again I cant compare with previous bookfests but it looks good.

Hi, does anyone know if we need to use the 20% discount voucher from popular book at the bookfest? so the assessment books are already discounted? need to get some assessment books and wonder if i should just buy at regular popular instead of going to the bookfest. thanks.beariecrystal:
what are the good buy during the popular fair? is it 20% storewide?
Hi, you can find story books, stationery, assessment books all with big discounts. I think the assessment books are around 25% at the book fair vs 20% if you buy from the popular stores. However, the queue at the book fair usually very long. Be prepared to spend a fair bit of time there as there're a lot to check out. -

Cannot use the voucher. It can only be used in the popular bookstore.
Some assesment books go for 22% discount.
I saw εδΊεΏ«θ―» (bk 1-8) the newer version. Chinese books are 30%.
This time the selection of books not too good as compared to the last year. -
Any idea if the pictionary man toy is for sale at the bookfair?
-
Any good buy? I was there yesterday and the queue was scary! I queued for 40mins to do my purchase. It was crowded, just in case I miss out some good deal.
