Don’t worry. I didnt spot any horrible science books. And I don’t really think they will charge $1 for this series.

The sale still on. But anticipate crowds. Looks a bit scary when we left. The queue went round the corner. If you go, will know what I mean.

Page one sale at vivocity started from 27 Jan. 50% store wide on books, non books 30% off. Kids books still available though popular series like Stilton can’t be found. Many Chinese titles also, beats having to order from dangdang but I didn’t find that many titles. Good number of nat geo kids books, horrible series, dork diaries.

Went there tonight and the queue to pay took about 1.5 to 2 hours. Long, yes. But there is air con.

I went to last year’s Popular March fair. I noticed that they usually clear old stocks then and so their assessment books and storybooks may not be the latest or if they are, there are not many of them. The bookfest has a better selection but this March book fair is much cheaper but not that easy to find good buys.

The days when they have members offers can get scary. Bookfest was ok compared with that. But as usual, if one can go during off peak days/hours should be ok.

Thought they may have half a day when it’s open only to members? I had that impression leh
