No ang pow got su pow.

That mean no election this year and donโ€™t go to casino bcos the gov already said "lose for sure".

btw, the su pow here means gov is giving out subsidies for those who take upgrading courses.

Is there lower alcohol tax? Travellers get to buy more wine or beer (extra 1 l of either) in place of spirits...mebbe because less people buy spirits or those who do typically go to casino so there got duties paid ones, gahmen earn liao lo! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Otoh, this is to encourage buying of alcoholic drinks at the duty free shops. Note this is a duty free shop and NOT a free shop.

This new thingy has no effect on me as I seldon buy wine or beer. But I know it is against the law for buying these duty free drinks and then sell them.

I do wish Budget 2010 has something attractive for Singaporeans in the form of some 'hong bao'. With increasing costs for everything and inflation, it would be nice if the Finance Minister Mr Tharman has some cash for Singaporeans, but he did not do that ๐Ÿ˜ข

We do not drink alcoholic drinks nor buy liquor at duty-free shops, so this new law doesn't make any difference to me.
