My daughter always had problems sleeping unless in total quiet and darkness. We had problems in early years until she was old enough to accept using eye shades to sleep. Now she travels better. For small kids, whether ASD or NT, make sure you have lots of snacks, toys and books, and let them eat or drink during take-off or landing to avoid ear problems.

You can always ask for school transfer but it is subject to a school being willing to accept your child. How the process works, as far as I understand, is that you find a school that you want to transfer your child to, get some kind of form/acknowledgement from the new school, then go to the current school and effect the transfer. You can check with MOE for precise details.

Yes, I am loading myself with sweets, snacks, lollipops (for taking off and landing), ipads, ipod touch.

              Hope they will be good.

If it's a full service flight, they have video games and cartoons on board too. My boy had a great time.

Hope they will watch cartoon. So I can have some peace. I never watch any movies on flight a long time since I started flying them.

You may want to limit the sweets and lollipops - too much sugar? You don't want them on a sugar high. I prefer to give wholegrain crackers and raisins as at least those have a little more nutritional value and can make up for some of the not-so-good meals when travelling.

Hahaha. Found out when I was eating raisins like crazy during my preg and gained a few kgs from it.

Yes, I know. I usually wouldn't hand out more than 5 at a time, but at least it has a few vitamins and some fibre!
