Does anyone know why 1K and 1L have only 25 students only while the rest are 35 each. Is this the MEP/AEP class as I am in the MEP program?

Nope they grp randomly. My friends are also spread out into diff classes and no prob

Yes, randomly placed.....except the 2 SBGE classes....

1K and 1L are the 2 SBGE classes, not MEP....

I don’t know anyone from my class. Is that normal? My friend that had the same score as me went to 1K. And btw, I’m also not in 1L. May I know why we are not in the same class. Thanks in advance!

Hi ! I'm wondering if any current DHS parent/pupil has any thoughts/feedback/experience to share on the Music Elective Programme and the School Art Programme. Hope someone can address the following questions that I have.


2)When can Sec 1 pupils apply and roughly what is the intake per programme like ?
3)Are these examinable subjects ?
4)If a pupil is taking one of the above, are they still allowed to take a 3rd language or can they only choose to do 1 elective ?
5)What is the drop-out rate for the 2 programmes ?
6)What is the weekly timetable like - after school hours/how often/duration of each lesson/location of class ?

DD got offer of 3rd lang . student only can chose 1 special prg. Can she still try to apply MEP? or SAP? Then only decide what to sign up after Sch re open?

Ok, what i know so far abt MEP / AEP .....(probably, other parents with MEP / AEP kids may able to input more info)

- there will be theory test and audition in order to get selected.

- U have to be committed for 4 yrs for MEP/ AEP, so not appropriate to talk abt drop- out rate.

- Yes, they are examinable subjects, can be used to replace one subj in yr3/4

- if u take 3 rd lang and MEP / AEP, U will have to drop 3rd lang when comes to yr 3 ( since u cant drop MEP/ AEP)

- lessons are conducted once a week, after school lessons ( as seen fr the timetable).

Are u a GEP student at primary, and how abt your friend are they GEP Student?? If not, Can I know u friend psle score? Bcos for 1L & 1k is group of gep student fm primary.

My dd and her friend, both non-GEP, both got into 1K.
