I like my kid's school (Hong wen school) uniform - cream/yellow top with a chinese knot (sap school mah) and brown shorts. Best of all, the material is dri-weave....nonid iron!! Hurrah!

Plus, it's for both PE and normal lesson days- so nonid to fear if wear wrong clothes. Double Hurrah!!
Cannot imagine the uniform... must go google for it. šŸ˜„

I dislike DD's uniform cos it's all white. Dirties easily and not too convenient when these girls reach puberty.

Nowadays, shorts are not that 'short' for boys lah..so it is not that obscene. In fact , they are more like 'culottes' - knee length and slightly baggy...kinda cool looking and very practicable for Singapore's weather.

Think my son wouldn't mind wearing that all the way to year 6. šŸ˜‰

During my days when we were in JC (during the 1st 3 mths prior to getting O-level results) when we attended JC in our Sec school uniforms, it was really odd to see those guys walking in and out of lecture theatres in shorts....

Some guys with exceptional hairy legs, while some guys totally fair, smooth and hairless! :yikes:

oops... i didn't observe that...cos my son's legs very tone, no hair (but got lots of 5 cent and 10 cents) and nicely coloured leh...he's a runner..u see šŸ˜‰

actually i dont think fancy baggy.right fitting is the proper way.however if one has to buy slightly oversized in anticipation of growing bigger in the subsequent years, thats fine

Until you've got to handle those silver buttons during washing and ironing that is.

Gosh...it's been so many years...but I kinda remembered them being removable?

yes, but take out, iron, put back...I always scared I will misplace (although those are big buttons).

actually i wld prefer JC's uniform anytime compared to pri/sec's uniform.

                        find them studious looking. šŸ†’
