All About Luggage

Hi, while enquiring for my luggage wheels repairs, I was given the contact of Mirrco Luggage Repair Centre (Tel 63397316). You can enquire if they repair your brand of luggage. However, we have not sent in our luggage for repair so I can’t give you comments about their service.

Thanks hypergatak. Will check them out.

You can consider Eminent. I bought mine more than 12 years ago. So far only service the wheels twice only S$5 or S$8 per wheels. forget the price liao. They have their own service centre.
I got my free American Tourister soft case luggage last year from OCBC. The handle break when i use for 2nd trip. I have not leave the house break liao. So undurable. Wonder got waranty or not since they said lifetime waranty. -
Thanks everyone for the recommendation.,
I am looking for a luggage , after reading i have made up my mind which brand i am gonna get for my upcoming trip. -

For those thinking that Rimowa/ Tumi luggage is durable... Umm..
We have 3 relatively new luggages being repaired.. :slapshead:
After sales service service quite good though, now waiting for bags to come back.. :slapshead: -
I got a Samsonite soft-case luggage free from Citibank in 1996. It’s still going strong – has never given me any problems.

Don't be fooled by the brand name (although branded ones do provide a better after sales service). For those thinking that Rimowa/ Tumi luggage is durable... Umm..

Whether the luggage is durable or not depends a lot on how you use it (naturally, a cabin use only luggage will fare much better than a chuck it into the chute luggage) and the airport you are heading to/from (most modern size airports - including ours truly - have a number of drops in their baggage handing system).
P/S: The only durable cases are from Pelican - but I doubt the average traveller will be using them. -
My luggage is from Samsonite, don't even remember when or where I bought it. But it has been on loads of trips with us and still going strong :rahrah:

yah Samsonite is really durable. I’ve 3 Samsonites still surviving the many tosses and tumbles over the years…I’ve Rimowa too. It’s very sturdy, but not light.
