Hmm, 1st branch will be sitting at Bugis Junction, the ex-Sketchers spot. In front of Ajisen Ramen.
The thing about Nando's is their chilli sauce. It comes in 3 level, medium, hot and extra hot. I normally order the Peri Peri \"Hot\" Marinate Char-Grilled 1/4 Chicken and i'll dip my meat in the extra hot chilli sauce :!:
SHIOK AH!!!
wow ...
any idea when is the opening?
they are keeping it a secret. wah lao. !!! -
Mmmm, EXTRA HOT chilli sauce... I like....

I luv Big Rooster too..luv their corn..
Peri-peri sauce is their speciality......... but we have to see as grilled chicken is not as popular as fried chicken. Anyone remember, during mid 80's, there was a grilled chicken fast food chain Big Rooster..... I was a fan of that chain but their business could not survived and closed down....friednemo:
Char-Grilled Chicken in Peri-Peri Marinate.
This is a plate of 5 pieces Char-Grilled Peri Peri Chicken Wings with sweet potato mash.

yeah..in Marina Square b4 the renovation..hmm..more than 10 years ago??
we used to go there often..more like a fast food style..hv to go to cashier to place orders (like kfc) but the ambience is like restaurant type..they bring the food to u though..price-wise very value for money..still remember they used the little flag (to indicate the spiciness) on their chicken when they bring it to u..so cute..
however the business at that time was not good..always only handful of tables occupied....I knew that it would be a matter of time the outlet would be out of business..it turned out to be true
Tink it was out of business because there wasn't any promotion/advertising going on and due to wrong timing.
By the way, I always thought that Nando was a stand-alone restaurant then. I only realised they hv a lot of outlets when u posted it here
