DD claims her school just finished Math syllabus.

I dare not ask about the Science.

I just zoom in on working on her weak areas WHEN she is receptive to work with me so I maximize those quality times (which are few) so that she can see for herself, she only needs minimal time with me to get it right. My DD's stumbling block is her attitude. Of course, the pre-teen hormones does not help at all. Anything can trigger a face-off. :scared:

Just had one this morning. I was too tired to say anything. When she saw me crying while washing the dishes, she apologized.

I miss my baby.

It's good that she apologised. Mine never apologised as she felt that she is never at wrong....
U are right... now pre-teen hormones are coming in the wrong timing... mine start on P5 and getting worse and worse... cant wait for Oct to arrive.

My dd is getting more slack than hardworking as the date draws nearer. I have requested my boss to let me work from home from August to early October on most days except days when I have to be in office physically. Fortunately she is understanding and is fine with this.

Just want to be at home to provide support and to watch that she is not idling too much....

I can't believe this. My dd is also shortlisted for the next round in Raffles. She just took the GAT test on Tuesday afternoon. She applied under Academic-Science.

Chances are your maid doesn't want to work for you anymore is very great since you are expecting a third child. You should go for option 2 and let the agent handle her.

Agreed fully ! Did your new maid know that u are expecting your 3rd child b4 she come, ie u let agent know - household with 2kids + 1bb ?
Usually maid will say everything yes during interview, then later find that it is too much hardwork.
Go for option 2. Get a new maid. U cannot let your new born being taken care of maid who is not interested to work.

My previous maid make use of me to come over to SG, then <1mth, said she want to go back to agent as she only want to work for employer with 1 child.
During the 2mth waiting time for new maid, we suffer as she will only do what she want and what she like, ignore my 2 kids etc, sleeping as and when she like, concentrating on her face & hair :stupid:
She got her wish come true as she can interview her potential employer since she is here. We did not sent her back due to the loan.
Also it look like now is the maid's market as some need to desperate to get transfer maid...
