Hi,just to give this a closure,i entered NJC in the end.
To my surprise, the ip kids here are really sporting people and confident speakers, which,in a sense amuses me(nt in a rude way),'cause i was expecting to see geeks here but frankly speaking, there are none, not that i met of.Also,on contrary to popular beliefs that we are a mugger sch,our sch culture is quite vibrant and fun!! Hardly are there any schools that offers boarding programme like ours, definitely a brand new experience. No regrets joining

Yup I heard about that. It's kinda strange.
Yes...indeed it is,so the segregation there kinda make me rather hesitant about going there.Anyway thanks for your help!(:2210:
Dd also went to ip jc. I guess it varies for every individual. She had a very cohesive class consisting of about 80% fr ip. And it is not true the ip kids all do better. In fact the jae in her class performed better because they were more rigorously exam trained. But the ip students pick up fast. once they are used to the exams rigours, they'll do fine. But I'm not sure about njc though.
Oh,that's comforting to hear haha, but i know in NJC,the IP students and the JAE students will be assigned to separate classes,so its like kinda segregating..Hmm -

But i have also heard that in NJC,the IP students tends to perform better as the sch has already been preparing them for the As since Year1,so i'm quite unsure if i can cope with the competition there.2210:
yea, actually i'm kinda stuck between Andersons,Nanyang and National JC,but njc has always been my ideal sch so yeah haha

Go for NJC if your dream school's just 30-40min away.
You won't regret it. Looks good on resume. Think long term. NJC not so \"cliquish\" like other JCs with affiliates. -

RE: All About A Levels
Hi guys, just received my Olevel results hours ago.
Got raw score 8points,nett score 4points.
As iām currently staying in the North,i am comtemplating if i should go to National junior college, which is a 30-45minutes bus ride from my house, also as i have heard from many others that IP students are in a sense, more prepared than us in the preparations for the As,so iām wondering if it will be hard to cope should i enter NJC?In addition, how are the academic achievements and culture like in NJC?
Any opinions will be appreciated.Thank you!
