      Hihi to All,

im going to korea in mid-end dec too! 2nd time in korea during winter but the first round was going by tour… This round F&E with parents coming along. Tour is good as you don’t have to plan but the daily changing of hotels is madness… You reach hotel late like 8 or 9pm so by the time you finished parking and shower is very late and next morning need to gather to leave at 8am… So its very rush and not enough sleep everyday. Shopping wise not much time also… they bring you to ginseng and other expensive selling medicine shop and those seaweed shop etc but actual shopping in myeongdong was only like 2-3hrs, I didn’t even managed to walk much there hence decided on F&E this time.

I went to Everland during last tour, it was freezing and some rides are long Q its so terrible to Q in the cold… My boy doesnt really play the rides though and some are closed as the weather is too cold… There a small snow hill for you to slide down though at Everland… The wind can be very chilling and my nose and face become very cui from the wind blowing (running nose and skin peeling)… We were left there on our own from morning till evening before the tour bus came… Halfway we just went into shops for warmer cos its too cold to be walking around the park… There are standing heaters around the park for you to get warm but does not really help as you cant be standing there through out.

For upcoming trip I have not planned any itineraries… I booked one Airbnb in May only to have the host informing me 2weeks ago he can no longer lease to me as he received too many complains from the residents so he had to stopped. End up I had to book the hotel now and my travel cost increased by a lot more. I booked SQ tickets in Mar so the air tickets price is reasonable about SGD850+ per pax.
