      Which Is the Best School for an aggregate of 252?

      Which part of singapore?

      We stay in Yishun. My son likes to join Victoria IP. But St Joseph s is nearby. My hubby says ACS IP/ o levels is best. Hard to prioritise choices.

      Thanks.

      Thank you very much

      AbiSuresh:

      Hi Maths guru,
      There were some sweets in Boxes A, B and C. Box A contained 1/7 of the total number of sweets in Boxes B and C.
      The ratio of the number of sweets in Box B to the total number of sweets in Boxes A and C is 3:1.
      If there are 30 more sweets in Box B than Box A, find the total number of sweets in Boxes A, B and C.

      Box A --> 1/8 of total number of sweets -- (A --> 1 part, B&C --> 7 parts, total --> 8 parts)

      Box B --> 3/4 of total number of sweets -- (B --> 3 units, A&C --> 1 unit, total --> 4 units)

      1 - 1/8 - 3/4 = 1/8

      Box C --> 1/8 of total number of sweets

      There are 30 more sweets in B than in A,

      3/4 - /18 = 5/8

      5/8 of total number of sweets --> 30
      Total number of sweets --> 8/5 x 30 = 48 sweets.

      cheers.
