the holding school is now at kallang and will move back in 2016 is it? or is that the secondary school?
The school is at Martia Road. It is the secondary school that will move to Kallang.
For 2CS, most likely balloting will be conducted for PRs. This is just my opinion.
will there be balloting outside 2km for phase 2Csupp?
not much information about this school… anyone knows?
me too… having gone through one disappointing balloting, i do not think i will want to take the risk at balloting. and would advise parents who is unable to take the disappointment like me not to do it. cos i have not gotten over it! taking it way too hard!!!

sembgal:Statutory declaration is required for parents who wish to register their child using the address of the child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling and the address is within 2 km from the school of choice.
Eligibility Criteria
Both parents are working full-time at the time the statutory declaration was made; and
The child is under the full time care of a grandparent or a parent’s sibling; and
The child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling is not employed.
Declaration Details & Required Documents
The child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling and one of the child’s parents are required to make a statutory declaration in person at the MOE Customer Service Centre.
The statutory declaration can be made from Monday, 7 July 2014 to Friday, 1 August 2014 at the following periods (i) 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays and (ii) 9.00 am to 12 noon on Saturdays. Parents are to bring along the originals of the following documents:
Identity card of both parents
Identity card of the child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling
Birth certificate of the child to be registered for admission to school
Documents to prove the relationship between the parent and the child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc)
Recent employment letters to show full-time employment
Supporting documents to prove self-employment e.g. Business File, CPF statements showing self-employment status etc
Photocopies of the passport/NRIC/overseas employment letter for parent/s who are currently overseas
Balloting
If statutory declaration is used, children who are registered using either the grandparent’s or the parent’s sibling’s address and residing within 1 km or between 1 km and 2 km from the school of choice are balloted together with the other children of the same citizenship residing between 1 km and 2 km from the school.

I applied for statutory declaration last year as a back up but did not use it eventually for last year P1 registration. There was no need for me to void the declaration if I am not using it. I merely informed the school that I do not wish to use statutory declaration anymore and they will take note. The computer system will show that a statutory declaration has been made at MOE so parents must highlight to the school if parents decided not to use the statutory declaration anymore.
Example: Grandparents live within 1km of a popular girls' school. If parents make a statutory declaration at MOE, and statutory declaration is used, children who are registered using either the grandparent’s or the parent’s sibling’s address and residing within 1 km or between 1 km and 2 km from the school of choice are balloted together with the other children of the same citizenship residing between 1 km and 2 km from the school.
If the popular girls' school has more applicants than the vacancies available in phase 2C for SC within 1km, any smart parents will know that they have to change strategy and go to another girls' school with available vacancies to register. In this case, it depends if the parents want to use SD or not.
