In my few encounters, I seen kids from NJC, HCI or top 10% students of the neighboring schools hunting for tutors. I believe it is not the pass that matter. It is the stretching to their even higher potential that matters to these kids

Actually, in some schools, hardworking NA kids will be given a chance to go into Express stream (e.g: Sec 1 NA to Sec 2 Express or Sec 2 NA to Sec 3 Express), if they manage to satisfy the EOY criteria.


You might want to check out with the school.

In fact, NA kids can still go into the JC system and be very successful, as long as the kid works hard and stay motivated, there will always be a way out for him/her

I have witnessed many NA kids, taking O level at Sec 5 and headed to MI and now they are at NUS doing Maths or even Engineering

Yes you are right
Normal MT cannot be put as L1; but it could be used as one of the relevant subjects (apart from 1 Maths, 1 Humanities and 1 Science requirement).

I agree with all the steps and of course, practicing an array of questions do help to strengthen the subject mastery.


However, do not do all the practices blindly. Also look at the approach you used and reflect on the similarities between the approaches used in each question.
