Hi SmileyKalona and Janet_lee88, I am concerned with the additional academic workload in secondary school. But I am also worried about my child's possible attitude change. I have friends who told me that as their child reaches puberty, they are not so receptive to advice and instructions. In primary school, the child will do everything that the parents ask, but in secondary school, they start to rebel a little. I guess it's not easy being a teenager today. I don't know what will happen.

Teenagers are impressionable and they are more receptive to peer at this age compare to parents.
They will be more willing to open up if you treat them like a friend and lend them your listening ear and be supportive of what they do (of course must be positive things)

Hi. Does anyone know of any good Sec 1NA Maths assessment book? I prefer it to go topic by topic, instead of in exam papers format. I went to Lot One popular and could only find 2 types of Maths assessment books for Sec 1 NA, and both are in exam papers format. Any recommendation on which assessment books and which outlet to get?

Casco maybe good as there are really a lot of questions but u have to be selective on the questions because not all of them are insync to the current syllabus. You have to decipher which are the more common ones so as not to waste too much time doing unecessary questions.
