No books to follow but I hosted some events before and did corporate presentations last time so I know what goes into a presentation. Expressions aside, the most important thing is familiarity with the content, which will translate into confidence and fluency. That will make up the basic marks and means practice makes perfect. The added expressions, loud voice, eye contact and smile etc will give you bonus points of course.I dunno whether it's good to be as exaggerated as those story-telling contests but I think confidence is important.

my friend told me she bought health supplements from Malaysia though cheaper but the contents are different from what she bought here. Same brand, same packaging but 1 or 2 minerals is not there. I do not use the supplements so I can't comment but anyone here experience before? :?

Admummy:If you dun drive, have a family of 3 kids (all below 6yrs old) and given a chance, Wld choose to stay at a place where's it's a stone throw away from a park and rerservoir BUT absolutely no amenities? No hawker centers,7-11, atm machines not even a mama shop until like few bus stops away...OrAn unit above shopping malls, interchange and mrt? You'll also be surrounded by shops within neighborhood centers, library, banks, clinics...Definitely not option 1 for me, and I'm sure my spouse would think so too.Singapore residential estates are now well connected (or at least most) to the parks via park connectors. So, recreaction is surely not an issue. Well-connected to amenities (convenience) is a plus, because the weekly marketing, bring kids to enrichment classes, etc would not be a hussle with aplentiful public transport. Option 2 is out as well. I wouldn't opt for an unit above shopping malls, interchanges and MRT stations; even worst, anywhere facing a MRT track or major road. Just my opinion, air pollution, noise pollution, presence of all kinds of \"funny\" people are my prime concerns for my kids and our healths as well.

Hi, can anyone share tips on how to teach toddler to differentiate the letters b, d, p and q. My son who is 4yrs old has this problem (hope it’s not something alarming)… Anyway he is quite active and has very short attention span. So far, I’ve gathered the following methods from the net but apparently they are not very effective: - make an "OK" sign with each hand, which, if formed correctly, makes a "b" with the left hand, and a "d" with the right.- b "sees" d (a wordplay on the order of the letters b,c,d. Then we drew happy faces on each letter so that they were looking at each other.- draw our ‘b’ and ‘d’ as pictures. The ‘b’ was a bear’s belly and the ‘d’ was a dinosaurs back. - use the ‘bed’ analogy that upsadaisy mentioned. Have the child make two fists with curled fingers facing in towards themselves and thumbs up. Put fists together at knuckles- this is a headboard of a bed. The left fist looks like a ‘b’, the right fist looks like a ‘d’ and b comes before d like in the word ‘bed’.
