      Surprised to see that TKPS is over subscribed this yr and NAPS still have vacancies…

      Last yr i m the last person to register my son @ TKPS during the 3rd day and there are still more than 10 vacancies…
      I think the sschool is gaining reputation & popularity due to its multi-nation/culture and sports achievement…

      Hi, would like to share abt P1 as my son is in P1 this yr.

      Like another mummy comments, there aren't much homework daily, but there is Chi & Eng (words) spelling every wk.
      There are Chi & Eng 'show & tell' every sem also, if i remember correctly.
      There are PTM every sem, which i find good as i get to know my son progress every 3 mth.
      The FT of my son class is good also, during PTM she can give comments abt my son 'petty happening' in class, which mean she really pay attention to her students.
      Another things is they had this school organiser book, i m not sure does every school has it?
      It's a daily organiser, so students have to write down the daily homework, things to do/bring, n msg to parents from teacher if any.

      Most importantly, my son enjoy his P1 very much, that's all that matter right? 😄

      Hi mummies, just came back from Kong Hwa, there is 78 applicants, all are within 1km, to ballot for 47 seat, my chances are 47/78/2 = 30% :sad:

      Then went to Geylang Methodist, 124 vacancy, there r 55 within 1km, 67 1-2km, 4 >2km, chances r quite high as i m within 2km.
      Also check v the admin staff abt affiliation sec school, u only need to score 188 at PSLE to get into express stream, while none affiliated need to score 226.
      But the staff tell me they might revise to 5-10 pt higher as Geylang Sec is now a value added school.

      Call Tanjong Katong and there are 17 seat left now, so will definitely go in if there is no major changes on the no. applicant.

      Dilemma dilemma dilemma :? :? :?

      Wa how u know looks clear n good? I very blur leh..

      on the MOE website:

      TKPS -> 104 vacancies /56 registered
      Gelyang Methodist -> 124 vacancies /84 registered

      Kong Hwa -> 47 vacancies/ 62 registered

      for agnesleong, she will need to call the sch and ask how many are within 1km for KH.. if less than 47, she should go for it.

      ya ya, this is my plan too.. might take the risk to ballot if there r like 50+ applicant less than 1km.. 🙏 🙏
      but of cos no need to ballot will be the best!!!
