Yes, we are chinese, but I can’t speak chinese well, and we are not from a chinese speaking family as well.
Actually I want my son to join SHPS, as I know Poi Ching has high level of chinese, but my block is just the opposite of the blocks that are within 1 km, thus we are considered 1-2km area (T T). That is why I’m thinking whether I should try Poi Ching? I’m just afraid that it will be very stressful for my son as well as for the parents

RE: Poi Ching
Hi mothers,
I would like your 2 cents of advise. I am from a non chinese speaking family, and me and hubby can’t speak chinese as well. I can speak and read a bit, but very basic chinese. I stay only opposite of Poi Ching, but I am afraid to put my son there because of the chinese level in the school. But, Poi Ching is the only school that is within 1 km from our block.
Is there any of you that also comes from the same background as our family? I am still contemplating about Poi Ching due to the chinese. How can you as a parent and child cope up with the school requirement?
Thank you in advance for your kind help and advise!
