It seems like there’s very little resources for Sec 1 exam or test papers. There are a few for download on some websites but mostly only maths and science and not very updated.

What do you use to gauge the travelling time to the school?

I have tried using Google Maps and Onemap.sg
Both always show quite different timing and Onemap.sg seems to be always showing a much shorter travelling time to the school.

Can I try my luck and put the first 3 choices with slightly higher cut off points than my child’s score? If I do this way, how does it affect the posting? For example, if the 4th choice cutoff point is definitely lower than my child’s score, will my child be admitted to the 4th choice if the first 3 choices don’t take him? Or will the 4th choice be rejected because it has been filled up by students who put it in their top choices?

I understand SAP school’s students need to take higher Chinese. Will the student be able to drop the higher Chinese if he is not doing well?

PSLE always ends the day before schools celebrate Children's Day. So, since Children's Day falls on 09 Oct 2020, written papers will start on 01 October 2020.

Any idea why the children’s day in 2020 is 9 oct?
Isn’t it always the first Friday of Oct which should be 2 oct in 2020?
