Oh, If the same situation as last yr repeat this yr. Haig Girls will have a risk of sc>2km going into balloting. There was a sudden surge of of applicants on 3rd day afternoon last yr.phtthp:
12.35 pm (1 August, 2013)
i) Haig Girls

81 SC registered
14 PR registered

I was told by the Principle during the open house that they took in all SC last year, so there is no balloting conducted.

Just been to Haig Girls.
Admin staff told me as of 9.30, registration exceeded 89. She mentioned she doesn’t have the exact breakdown but there is high chance sc > 2km needs balloting.
There is no crowd at Haig Girls but they are expecting it to increase this afternoon.
SC Parents that are > 2km, lets keep our fingers crossed and pray hard -

There is open house at Haig girls.
Pls do not miss this opportunity to visit the school, if you are serious in enrolling your child there. The principal, vice principal, teachers, school prefects will be around - to answer any question of concern from parents.
You may bring your daughter and spouse down, to visit tihe premises.
The best way to obtain information about the school is to ... Ask the pupils / students there direct. They are the best source, to provide parents first hand info, about the school.
