My brother moved to Singapore about 3 yrs ago and he has been trying to get admission for his kid into local school and as a foreigner he could not get him into P1 as MOE said there is no vacancy and for P2/P3 he gave the AEIS exams and to his disappointment he still couldn't get the kid into any local school ! :sad:

After checking with the friends who gave the AEIS exam (which cost $700 by MOE) 9/10 students were not able to get a seat in the local school. Seems they are making very difficult for the foreigners to survive in Singapore. Why make the kid suffer to get proper education ?

can some one advise on where to get help to prepare for the AEIS exam, any sample papers or tuition we can bring the kids to take

Does anyone know more about Bedok View Sec Vs Bedok South Sec school. Which is better in terms of Academic and school environmnet (decipline, character etc…)

My son said the Science paper was tricky but he managed to answer most of the questions

any feedback on the selection activity at SST and how are the long term prospect at SST as compared to NUS high

My Son has been selected for the second phase of SST selection process and has to attend a selection camp. Anyone knows what activity was there last year for this selection camp and what preparation we need to do

Hi Parents, my daughter was selected at SST and we need to make a decision next week to send her there or not. She is expecting about 245-250 in her PSLE. what other options do i have for any IP schools (non-chinese)


SST looks attractive but it’s not proven yet and from it’s website i don’t see any achievement from it’s students in competitive exams (unlike NUS high, RI, NJC and other shools)

Anyone gave Hindi paper today? How did you find it? My dd found the second paper difficult.

the answer is 24 days everyone in my class got that. the person started reading on saturday so:
15x4=60
30x3=90
90+60=150 - 1 week
525/150=3 r 75
75 - 30+30+15
3x7=21
21+3=24
so the ans is 24

My daugther found the paper easy (especially the section B) she also had 5 mins left after doing the revison
