This year I need register my girl for primary school. I am under 2C and within 1km for St hildas. but now SHPS left 43 seat, is it too risky for me try on this school? although i am singaporean.

for other like Poi Ching, Tampines Primary already 1-2 km. If i try for register these 2… if they conducted ballot for within 1km. mean i am out right?

my qns is: based on your experience is it difficult to get into tampines pri in phase 2a1 or 2a2?thanks in advance

Tampines primary only have Phase 2A2, no 2A1.

      This means that -
On Phase 2A1 Registration day in July 2015 :
number of children registered = 0

But, on Phase 2A2 Registration day :
There will be children registered on this day : since all the old boys, old girls kids get enrolled, this date.

      Don't worry
your son will be able to enrol into Tampines primary.
      From past historical record -
Tampines primary : no balloting involved, in Phase 2A2.
All kids of old boys, old girls got in.

Balloting only encountered in Phase 2C :
for PR staying within 1 to 2 km.

Hi you said Tampines primary only have Phase 2A2, no 2A1. mean Tamp primary school dun hav 2C? i stay within 2km in tamp primary. can i still register there?

      phtthp:
St Hilda primary faced intense balloting, for those within 1 km.

All depend on your luck, that balloting day.

If cannot enter, will proceed to Phase 2C Supplementary
So, must have back up schools under Phase 2C Supp, for those who intend to try their luck at St Hilda balloting in 2C
hi do you know where to see which school under ballot on last yr?

      Hi,

I'll be registering DS for P1 this year. Tampines Pri is just across our carpark, and St Hilda's is within walking distance (about 1 bus stop away) from our place. Will I stand a good chance at St Hilda's under P2C considering Tampines Pri is much nearer, even though both schools are within 1km? I am not very familiar with schools around Tampines, as I have just moved from Sengkang in late 2013. would anyone be able to previde their thoughts on Tampines Pri?

      Thanks!
Hi.. same situation here. i am stay SHPS 1km.. and tampines is 2km.
dun know which to enroll. i heard my another fren mentioned that tamp primary not bad. i wan enrol Shps coz is very near to my hse. i just stay at the tropica condo.

I am new in this forum. would like to seek all mummies comments.. my girl going register on next yr and born on 2009. I am stay in Tampines and which the nearest school is St hilda and other school which more than 2 km.. i not sure shld i try my luck to get in SHPS or try other school? i am worried if cannot get in SHPS then will go some other phase 2c supp school.

      Hi Alice,

Same shoes. I am staying like right across Poi Ching...But definitely going to be a balloting, and the best part is PCS is the only school within 1km for us..and the SHPS is within 2km, so don't even need to try. And it seriously doesn't help when there are quite a few BTOs n condos TOP-ing soon.. I guess I am here to research on phase 2C strategy as a fail safe.. 😄 :?

Hello~ why u dun wan enrol Poi Ching? heard not bad.
