Need recommendations for a private french tutor for Sec 1 student. Please help.

Thanks Esteema. He is taking French classes in a private tuition. Can my son drop the French In lieu of mother tongue?

My son is studying in a local school, he is in Sec 1 and taking French in lieu of mother tongue outside MOELC. Can i ask the local school to not take the yearly exam for him? Is the exam optional? Please help.
