I would have thought that the principal of NUSH should be a scientist or someone with at least a Ph.D. :siam:
Yes, me also same thinking as you, at least expecting some big shot holding a doctorate degree, from the University of Singapore, or from NTU or from industry experienced high profile practioner similar to Einstein calibre type of Officer, to helm NUS High

RE: NUS High School of Mathematics and Science (Diploma)
hi, i have read through the thread, i have a few questions and hope that parents with dc in the school could advise :
1) i think most of the dc given CO by nus high usually will also have CO given by the other sought after schools such as ri/rgs, hci/nygh etc, are you and dc happy with the choice that you have chosen, if you have to choose again, will you choose the same? what do you and dc like about the school?
2) it seems that the language programmes in the school when it first started out was not very stable (which is alright in my opinion as all new schools and new programs will have something to iron out in the beginning, most important is that the curriculum continue to change for the better), now that the school is ten years old, have the programmes improved?
thanks!
