I gladly give up all the money given to me by my late uncle to have that extra 1 min with him.

Even if you had asked for a free gift, does not mean you get any extras.

Just to clarify, her cloth diapers are those snap shut ones. Not the traditional ones. And her being a skinny baby, I have used the inner most snaps to secure. :thankyou:

    • RE: cloth diapering

My 4 month girl has been cloth diapered for most of the time. Of late, I realised the poo will leak out of her diaper. I have placed an ultra thick pad but that is effective in absorbing urine only . When she was on formula milk, this doesn't happen only because the poo is more pasty. Now that she is fully breastfed, the diaper didn't work as well as her poo is watery.

The disposable diapers have none of this problem.

      Any advice? :thankyou:

      Hi Tanggy,

Am not sure about P1 book list, but my dd's booklist states how, where and when you can buy the books. As for the uniform, I have also encountered the PRC last week. I made my complaints to the office right after I spoke to her. I won't elaborate further as I feel the school has more plus than minus and life's too short to be unhappy. :hugs:

They recently change uniform and book vendors. So there might have teething problems.

Other than that, I'm satisfied with the support given by the school and most importantly my DD is happy. šŸ˜„

      Imami:
The question is what kind of friends?

I agree. Another question on my mind is what kind of husband will my dd marry? Is he reliable to replace a sibling.

Btw, my dh is the only child. So he could never understand the need for another sibling. But after witnessing the ordeals I went through, we will start adoption proceedings in July.

At the meantime, I need to convince my parents on adoption.

      Hi,

This is my very first post in this forum. :rahrah:

I have a 7 year old dd and have been trying for #2 two years ago. I was recently told that IVF is no longer viable for me and I have gone through numerous rounds of IUI and suffered from 2 miscarriages.

My dd has no cousins from both sides as well. Like every mother, I worry for her to be lonely after we are gone. It pains me to think that she will witness our passing one after another; albeit no sibling support.

      *sigh*

For now, with our companionship, she is a contented lovely kid. And I do see awkwardness when she's at the playground.
