Not sure about what your ds are doing, but mine seems like he’s enjoying an extended December school hols… He tells me that there’s isn’t any HW and all the talk is about the camp next week.


Are the rest of the Sec 1 mums/dads experiencing the same thing?

Is anyone getting anything from Visual Text? I’m getting the impression that nothing is happening and that you’re giving your emails for someone to make a mailing list…

Yes, I was there including when they welcomed the boys at the hall. The teachers and students are caring, helpful, friendly and warm. They also focus on making everyone feel at home rather than pointing out differences such as IP vs O level students. It's an extremely well-organised system they have too. I witnessed this both on the 23rd and today. And let's just say the school website speaks for itself.

Being a former fulltime and current adjunct teacher, I'm speaking from experience when I say there's a special school culture here. I feel exceptionally blessed.

Much as I appreciate yours and the schools input, at the end of the day, it's what our ds take away from the school's culture and education that counts... As for me, I'm still trying to ween him off his computer games given to him by his aunt over Christmas!
