Received email from NJC for STEM.

Need to do a one-page portfolio outlining the reasons for selection and involvement in STEM/research activities.

Does any parents here knows roughly what the school is looking out for?

DS is super interested in Maths/Science. Looking at DSA into NUSH. He says he wants to give it a try.

Looked through the website, it mention something like submit portfolio, may i know what is this portfolio that NUSH is looking for?

Also DS is a prefect and Vice-captain for his track and field. Looking at DSA leadership as well. Can any parents enlighten us, is DSA through leadership tough? DS looking at VS. Any idea what VS is looking at for leadership?

means HCI didn't intend to send it out so early? Was your child's name indicated in the email or addressed in a general manner?

I am not too sure what they meant by technical glitch….

Yup, my DS name is on it stating that it is unsuccessful… 😨😔😅

We also receive the HCI rejection letter today.


But shortly follow by an email from HCI, asking us to ignore the rejection email. The email was sent out due to technical glitch….

But to us, we will take it as rejection la…. Haha

Just received email from HCI on the track and field.


Interview is on 22 Jul (sat), duration is 1hr 15mins.

Any experience parents know what will be the interview like for Sports domain? Thanks in Advance

We just received ours.. Seems like in batches.. We received 11+am and another friend received an hour later..

Trial and interview on 21 Jul or 25 Jul.. Diff groups..

We also just received at about 11++. 😅

VS track invite just came in. Received the email at around 12pm.

Has anyone heard from VS track yet? Heard some people started receiving calls for trials so not sure if anyone here also received a call?

Hi, my boy did not receive the invite for trial. One of his friends did. Not too sure if it is send in batches but we are not hopeful. 😔
