Hi hi, to all parents of P1 Integrity class in year 2018, a few parents and me have started a FB and WhatsApp group. You can search for \"Zhangde P1 Integrity 2018\" on FB or PM me for more details.

      Thanks. :rahrah: :boogie: :imcool:

thanks qms & lexy for the information breakdown and analysis. yes. our application to ZDP is successful.

we found it puzzling as well as how can be so chun. 100 SC within 1KM and any others are not successful. thats reason for another call to clarify and we got a different response.

to floppy: its not that we are not letting the school or MOE do their job, but not a single breathing sound from the school is deafening, when all your surrounding friends are notified (everyday) about the need to go balloting or to withdraw. thus, a call this morning to check the breakdown of the applicants. we are not even asking if our application is successful to be honest. point noted to not stress over it.

Congratulations! It's usual for parents to be concerned.
Those who will be remain here next year have to repeat the same Q&A. 😂

and I am more than happy to share more with others 😃

OMG! I just called ZDP and ask about the breakdown for 109/100. The lady told me all >1km applicants are rejected. 100 SG within 1km. We are that unfortunate one of the 9.

      We couldn't believe that!

So we made another call 15min later... And we were told all SG are successful with their registration!

Now we do not know which is which @@ 🤷

hi hi, i went for the 1st July open house and I would say pretty much impressed. not that academically not important, but i like that the school put emphasis on character building and teaching ‘how to fish’ and not just ‘providing the fish’ as well.

      hi,

me is so excited as we are registering our DD in 2017 for 2018 in-take. but would like to seek opinions from all daddies & mummies here.

my wifey is ex-student and we are relocating near my parent as they helped to take care of my 3 children 5yrs, 3yrs & 1yrs, from central area to redhill area.

does it make sense to apply for PHPP? i am finding a hard time justifying why our child should go through the long daily commute.

      -- ao

For me it doesn't make sense to send kids to a school more than 2km away from your place. let's assume that PHPPS will continue to have p1 in the afternoon session. sch off at 6.30pm, your child will have to commute home, assuming it takes 1hr, reach home at 7.30pm, shower, eat dinner by then it will be 8plus or 9pm. Homework? Do it next morning? will the grandparents be able to help?

hi, thanks so much for your response. i share the same sentiment. no doubt PH is a good school, but i just can't convincing myself on that. aside to long commute, still have CCA, additional lesson, etc.. :slapshead:
