actually come to think of it, depletion of water makes more sense now coz I was thinking the soil part is sealed, true - evaporation of water from the soil will condense on the inner side of the sealed cup and flow back to the soil but there is another outlet - from the stomata of the leaves thru respiration. Furthermore, the CO2 is also given out by the leaves through respiration - plants respire all the time rite? Hence, the plant uses its own co2 to photosynthesis. But too bad for my son, he chose 'co2' as the answer. :slapshead:

Think he deserves a good break.[/quote]Absolutely correct.Poor children,atleast now they are relieved off the stress.em....my son has HMT today and i will have to wait for him to come back home.planning something big for the weekend.

Science paper compared to 2010 was tough and this may vary from student to student.let’s hear from others as well.My son managed to complete all the questions within stipulated time,however he was mentioning that few questions were tricky.
