Not only that leh.. If you realise, the development of huge stretch of BTO along avenue 5,6, and 7 has almost completed, with people start moving in. For those with school going children this year, CCKPS is nearest. That will help explaining the boost in applicants, altho cutting of 30 vacancy played a part too..

Good thing that my boy went in smoothly last year, hence providing smooth path for his dragon brother..

Btw, if I were to register for this year, I would have gone for DLS, no matter SC or PR and distance in p2C..

At first, I'm curious too why DLS not so hot this year. After that I realized CCKPS cut 30place, unity cut 30, DLS 270 remain the same.

Parents who are SC within 1km of Alexandra Primary, Great news!

No need to go for balloting on Wed already! The school has accepted all the 154 students even though no. of vacancies is 151. This is because of 3 pairs of twins.
Do thank the parents of the twins if you see them on orientation day ok? YipppEE!

I'm happy for the Alexandra parents, but this is the first time I hear that a school does not need to go balloting because of twins. :congrats:

CCK pri just called me as well, all 30 PR kids within 1km vying for 29 vacancies are all in, because there is a pair of twin.. I think the logic was, twins share a ballot number, hence in the case of Alexandra Pri, it is 151 ballot numbers vs 151 vacancies, means all in..

Anyone has breakdown on CCKPS? Do they have chance for PR staying within 1km? Called them earlier and the lady said 19 vacancy left, but didn’t reveal more in detail. Quite worrying for tomorrow…
