sim:Hi Atan,Yes, he was in MS and average for all subjects was above 90. He did not have leadership records but has a good portfolio with achievements in acad competitions. As far as I know, all the boys above 90s were called to take the tests & interview. i think one cannot be overly prepared for the interview as the schools in general are not looking for stereotype answers but just trying to know if the child is a good fit for the school.Atan:
Hi Atan
Is your DS in MS? Can you share what are his results like, in the 90s or 80s for all the subjects? Does he have anything to show leadership quality. My child does not have activities to show leadership and the primary school has never offered the bilingual camp, or competition. So I think our application is going to be very weak. Thanks for advice !
Just go for it, as this year's academic DSA may be very different from prior years. It is a good experience and exposure for 12 year old:).
Was your ds from elite school? Mine is in neighbour school. Wonder if those MS having CO are from elite school or neighbour school.
Thanks!
My DS happen to be from a Sch that some consider as 'elite' but seriously only boys who qualified academically were shortlisted to take tests/interview. All the 80s boys from the same 'elite' Sch were not shortlisted. I believe MS from diff schools al have a fair chance in the DSA exercise.
Thanks for advice !
