dunman high starts at 8 everyday, except friday 9am. monday and friday is standard for all junior high levels y1-4, 3:15pm and 1:45pm respectively. friday is a cca day, so we will end up like ending school at 6+?


if we only count lessons, the earliest is 1:45, we also have 3:15, 3:45 or 4:15.

for subject-based enrichment, you require a minimum GPA of 3.2 and you can only enrich in one subject. you can have a first and second choice.
the subjects that are available for subject based enrichment are: language arts, mathematics, science, geography, history or english literature.
for each subject, there will be one class that is enriched. even though you get a GPA of 3.2, you might not be enriched as there may be other people that is better, then they will get into the enrich class.

normally there will be a survey conducted in mid year for us to put our choices so that they can decide what class to open. so by year end some of the choices will be out as nobody wants to choose that subject combination. but even tho some combi are still available for us to choose at the end of the year, the class might not open if not many chooses that combi.

during the streaming talk the teacher told us that usually for math enrich, its in triple science wth geog class, while science is any triple science class, history in triple science with history class, e lit in triple science with e lit class. for LA im not sure.

heard that for triple science single humanities classes, normally they will look at your grade for that single humanities that you want to take and allocate you. one example at a y4 class, some of the students' GPA was 3.6 while some were like 3.2. the student who got 3.6 did not do well in that humanities he took, which explains why he did not get into the better class for that subject combi. (that subj combi has more than 1 class that year)
