So maybe those from GEP will be excluded in DSA via academics? But they can enter via their CCA?

Well, she said that there are 2700 kids admitted via DSA. But there are only about 500 GEPers so majority still from MS.[/quote]
Statistics can be manipulated. 2700 is probably from all schools, but the 500 are likely only from that few \"elite\" schools. The question to ask is out of the DSA Academic students accepted by the top few schools, how many percentage are GEPers. Why MOE is reluctant to disclose how many students are accepted via DSA Academics? They could be more transparent by disclosing these numbers (but not naming the students of course).

Vacancies could be created as some students did not take up the places allocated to them for reason such as migrating or studying overseas. This will then start the musical chair rolling.

To the parent whose son score 263, if another guy with 263 put HCI as his first choice, he will get it over your son/

Only272, thank you for your clarification. So only those that score the same 263 will get consideration first with the school of their first choice, right?

This is wrong. Who has the priority will depend on who has higher score and not on the choice. If both score 263, there are still decimal points behind 263 (but not made known to students) and whoever has higher scores will get higher priority.

Just called DHS to enquire about the COP and the answer given was:

"As of now, the COP is 257, still awaiting confirmation from MOE in the afternoon…"
