cherrygal:From what I know, PV application for NYPS closed on 31Oct..so, this could be the error message for those trying to apply after 31Oct? I applied in Oct, didn't have this problem. :rahrah:Check with you guys... Not applying for NYPS but curious to know how pple applied for PV at NYPS since the emailmeform link they provided has always reached maximum quota? This form has been like this since early this year... never been cleared once. So how did you apply? Call the school and send via email directly?

Hi,
Can anyone share some comments/feedback between Chiltern House Turf Club Vs Nanyang Kiddy?
My daughter is currently attending Chiltern House Turf Club and has just been offered to join Nanyang Kiddy Pre-Nursery. Anyone can share with me whats the difference in the curriculum or how different is their teaching approach? Really appreciate any reply. Thanks!
Hi,
Do you have more information about their differences? I am in two minds where to put my ds for her N1 Mandarin class.
nemofc:Hi mummies
so which is good ? Thien Hsia or Berries?
heard Thien Hsia ratio is 1:8 but Berries 1:12
also, Thien Hsia is more result - oriented...
Hi Mummyjoy,
Yes! My girl just started N1 with CH @Turf Club! It's her 3rd day at school and she loves it!
Hope your boy is doing well!
My girl is in PM Session in Classrm 1. Are we in the same class?
Mummyjoy:Hi BabyLiaw,
My DS is starting N1 in chiltern turf club in Jan. I can update u on his experience after that.
But so far, he loves it there each time he went for visit and for his interview. Hope he will adjust well to starting N1 alone without us accompanying him in class.
Are u intending to send ur child there?
Faun:Think I was attended by this (Filipino) lady before. However, on my 2nd attempt to enquiry again, another lady (probably a local) was nice and patient. I was put on a \"waitlist\" for their baby class starting in Mar/Apr I think.
The counter Filipino girl super snobbish. Poor public relation
kimsdad:Erm, are you refering to their 2012 intake? For N1?we tried to register at CH Forum but they have only 1 class of (i think it was) 24 kids and despite having being put on the waiting list earlier on, we were later told that we're now further down the list as there were siblings of alumni registering.
what kind of a system is this when you q earlier and then are told that you're now further down the q? :scratchhead: :stompfeet: :stompfeet:
wcc:My kid has been with this school since 2.5 years old (4 years already), starting with baby music class. The senior teachers are usually highly demanded and their charges are also higher. However, they are mostly fully booked. Its quite difficult to get the senior teachers. The counters will usually recommend the newer teachers who still have slots. Weekends time slots are even harder to get. (But I think this happens in most schools too).
Hi rocco,
It’s always a good idea to expose your girl to more things, socialise and make more friends. For 19mths baby, you’ll probably be in their "Gifted Babes" class (from 8mths - 18mths) and when she’s more ready, to move her to "Gifted Tots" (18mths onwards). However, you may choose to put her directly into "Gifted Tots" class. You may want to check with the admin staff if your girl is suitable for a particular class, eg. are there more babies closer to her age range.
Erm, for your qn on "enrichment class", well, for 19-mth old child, I would think that all the classes she attends are enrichment classes? Btw, both Gifted Babes and Gifted Tots are parent-accompanied class. You’ll get to go through everything taught in class.
