I'm not. I'll register my dd in Tampines. :xedfingers:Barbiemoney:
Sigh. Many of those not really staying there, just rent the flat and change IC.
I'll pray for your friend. Does he be PV for the school?
R u one of them?...
I stay there and that area have lots of kids who will be due to register for Primary schools in coming years...including mine. -

Go ahead to apply PV for both schools. See which school accept you as a PV then decide which school to serve.hi all,
I wasnt so KS until my friend told me that P1 Registration is very stressful. I live just next block to Poi Ching (<1km) and also <1km radius of St Hilda's.
I looked at the TUR for the past few years. If I decide to PV at St Hilda's so as to be eligible under Phase2B, what are my chances? *gasp* 80 hours of PV too. If I register at Phase 2B St Hilda's and I dont get a spot, if i register at Phase 2C at Poi Ching, I will need to ballot for <1km? Or should I just PV at Phase 2B for Poi Ching and give up St Hildas....
So stressful....
As many applicant to be PV nowadays. Don't be surprise maybe you are not selected as PV, although you are staying near <1KM.

Sigh. Many of those not really staying there, just rent the flat and change IC.I believe red swastika, yu neng and fengshan need to ballot.
I really pity those parents who stay within 1km or worst 500m and fail to get a place in any of the 3 schools.
My friend's flat is just 3min walk to yu neng, 5 min walk to fengshan and 10min walk to red swastika. If he cannot get into any of the 3 schools, it will be a nightmare for him as the nearest school like bedok green, da mai, is not within walking distance and there is no direct public transport to these schools . the cost of transport will definitely add burden to him as he is the only breadwinner in his family.
we have been staying in his block for past 30 years, and it is amaze to find the 3 schools around here have become so popular !
I'll pray for your friend. Does he be PV for the school? -

Prefer St.hilda or Poi ChingHi,
My boy will be enrolling to P1 for 2014 in-take. I am within 1km for Chongzheng Primary and Yuming Primary School. He will be going after school care at 3 in 1 student care in Tampines.
I know that Chongzheng Pri is among one of the popular school in Tampines other than St. Hilda, GongShan, Poi Ching.
May i know is Yuming Pri School catching with its standard?
i will be at P2C, should try my luck enrolling my son at ChongZheng Pri?
Thank you

Dear Parents,
Does anyone knows which school is of a better choice, Gongshang Primary School or Chongzheng Primary school? My home distance for both school is between 1.5km to 2km.
Many thanks!
