Hi parents, m in dilemma which to choose.


1) Chij Oln
- I like the single sex school but it's far from my house as I stay in punggol. It's either by school bus( ard 6.15am pick up) or public bus.

2) edgefield primary
- walking distance to my house.

3) waterway primary
- new school therefore no pressure. 2 LRT stops away


Hope to get some advises here. My first choice is CHIJ OLN under phase 2B. Buts still contemplating due to the distance.

You may want to list down what are the factors and prioritize them. Some of the factors include
- Distance (too far)
- School bus pick up time (too early)
- History of the schools
- CCA that your child likes
- Single/dual session
- Preference of a proven school academic records.
- Student Care Centre (where applicable)

Your child will need to cope with the stress from homework, travel and time, hence you may need to evaluate and choose accordingly.

If your child can cope, I would advise entering the school under Phase 2B to avoid the stress of Phase 2C.

My 母校 is Pei Chun but i am staying in Yishun and i am worry about the distance and there are quite a few goods pri school in Yishun. If i give up and go for phrase 2C which i am looking at Northland primary which is near my house. But i worry my son can't get it. What should i do? I really need some advise cause i am so worry, don't know what to do. Thanks .

If I may add, the history of Northland is usually balloting for SC within 1 km and is 2 for 1 space.

Sometimes, you may want to take into consideration the distance. I am aware of at least 1 in my DD school who takes more than 1 hour to reach school and that is by school bus as she is the first to board en-route to school and last to alight when going home.

I know there is no chance for PRPS as is a popular school in this area. Applying PV to whitesand waiting for reply.

My question is if i am accepted as PV in whitesand is it a safe way to get into P2b?? Is there any balloting before for P2B phase??
What is my girl chances there being a SPR
