Reading through the posts, I realized most parents have similar dilemma be it your kids scoring below AL10 or above AL10. The choice of schools and to take the chance or not.

My kid did worse than prelims and languages are the stronger subjects. HCL's grade is merit but overall result of AL14 forfeited the chance for any SAP schools.

      Current school choices by COP:
      1) COP 6-13
      2) COP 8-14
      3) COP 8-16
      4) COP 11-15
      5) COP 10-16
      6) COP 10-18

Chances are low for choices 1 and 2 unless we get lucky. But choices 3 to 6 should still be still safe enough I guess.
Really tempted to try putting a SAP school for choice 1 but doesn't seem realistic and practical. Any thoughts from any parents?
It depends on your child’s gender. I think 14M can try for Maris Stella (12) cos it doesnt seem extremely popular compared to the other boys SAP schools.

But if you are thinking Anglican High (12P) i think difficult cos its popular among the East siders.[/quote]
Thanks! we did consider that but distance is another factor. we are looking at west area.
