They will have a formal assessment in first sem for p1 but the marks will not take into consideration to promo to p2. As for real exam only start in p2.

Even if u are within 1km.. u only have 50% chance based on last yr history.

The school consider quite academic focus. The teachers very committed and caring for every students. For p1 there are extra lessons for those weaker students. Homework load wise consider manageable. So far my girl love the school and no regret for putting her in this school.

Any ideas when will the school be distributing out the SG50 Lego set to the students?

This is based on MOE chinese syllabus… i thought every schools in SG taught the same way… they changed the chinese syllabus from 2015 onwards… now they more focus on learning han yu pin ying.

Actually during the regustration, i have shortlisted both Rivervale and Compassvale pri, in fact Rivervale is just beside my hse but due to the stress and the trouble of balloting in Rivervale pri (only 50% chance), therefore i have chosen Compassvale instead. But no regrets for my choice as i find that both Rivervale and Compassvale are equally good

Hi Joeytong, i m not too sure the 2014 psle score for this school as my girl only in p1 now. As i opt for student care for my girl therefore dunno about school bus option. Hope some other mummies here can help you

My girl is currently studying P1 in Compassvale Pri. I feel that the school is very focus in their students academic and discipline. Homework load is average. No regrets putting her in this school

I am staying in Sengkang and below are the distance from my house to the schools below

1. Rivervale Primary School (1.4KM)
2. North Springs Primary School (1.1KM)

From the above schools, do you think I should try for Rivervale Primary School or I should just try for North Spring ? I understand that Rivervale is a popular school as compare to North springs, Currently anyone got any feedback or review on North Springs ?

No need to think about trying Rivervale Pri if you are not staying within 1km as those staying within 1km already need balloting (50% chances). As for North Spring Pri, will have vacancies even after phrase 2C Supp.
