We are Singaporeans! Please give me the tickets to NDP.
I tried balloting using 10 family members and friends’ ID, but still not able to get to bring my kids to the NDP.

Chances should be high. You can check with the school directly.

RE: [Ang Mo Kio] Primary Schools
Phase 2B is also by distance. so u have to check the history just in case. But some schools only accept PV < 1km as that range already need to ballot.

RE: [Ang Mo Kio] Primary Schools
PV should be ok. since so far no balloting for PV.

My daughter is also in 1.6. The school actually \"test\" the kids to see their level of Chinese to split them accordingly. My daughter was ask to a few questions and to translate some things from English to Mandarin. This is the norm for APS. The P1 is assess this way, but P2 onwards will be based on the previous year results.
I wonder what is the differences in the class?
Last year, 1.6 and 1.7 were the better classes, not sure about this year though...it is best to check with the teacher. I think there will be a meet the teacher session at the end of Term 1...sometime in Mar 2013?
The Meet the teacher session is on 15th Mar. In terms of level, I think its more like can speak & read, can speak & cannot speak Mandarin for P1. -
Did anyone check up what is the difference between the Chinese classes? Are the children being taught the same stuff thou they are in different classes??
They are suppose to be taught on the same stuff but at different speed. And if I am not wrong, the better classes get taught on the Shen Kwang section while the weaker class leave that out.
Hi Belinng, what is shen kwang section?
深广. It is normally the 3rd story in each chapter. -

The \"IT clubs\" are by selection only. And normally only those in the IT classes are selected for P3-P6. Infocomm will be more for the general. There seems to be some new CCA clubs coming up.
As I read the CCA section on the APS website,
I see new info. There are a few new IT clubs, and is the
Pottery club something new?
But a little disappointed that for some clubs like
Junior techno club, if you are p2, it is by selection only.
How does the school choose the 'right' students?
And what makes a student more 'right' than another.
