anyone who is not a prefect, got short-listed for St Nick OP (4-years) / IP (6-years) \"Leadership\" domain ?

anyone know, whether the type of commitment expected for \"Leadership\" domain, is the same or different, for OP / IP ? eg. what kind of training is (available, in place) provided by school or by external organization, to stretch these girls' potential further (greater) ?

:goodpost:

Congrats & thanks for sharing! Had PM you. Pls check :)
Sorry.. u PM me?

I got the interview email from St Nicks Leadership late last night as well....

Anybody got notified for SCGS and Crescent Girls Leadership domain?

Hihi
Congrats to your DD.
May I check those who received notifications for DSA leadership at SNGS and or other Schools.... do your child hold any significant leadership role in school ie Head/ Vice Head Prefect, Captain and Vice Captain of sports and CCAs?

Asking for a fren who applied SNGS but the daughter is only a prefect. Thank you. :congrats:

We recieved from SNGS for leadership. My DD only perfect since P3. In dance CCA I heard she was tasked to \"monitor\" e lower pri warmup n routine but this I'm not sure is recorded cos her record book dun have this info.
Like I mentioned b4 during SNGS dsa talk. E teacher just said apply... so our hope was not high for this domain.

We applied dance and leadership for SCGS but only got called for dance Audition..

Just called Crescent Girls, they have started to call up the shortlisted ones, if by 15 July never receive the call means not shortlisted

Just called SCGS, the shortlisting process for leadership domain is on-going, no calls and emails made yet for this domain
Thanks for the update

Oh what a smart child. So alert. That's why she's a prefect. All the best.

She is a planner... she knows wat she wants but now she in a dilemma cos she not sure O level or IP.
So if e interviewer asked her which she prefers she actually dun know how to choose or answer.
But when we at SCGS... the principal said if student goes in as o level n if got potential they maybe offered IP in sec 2.. anyone know whether true or not?
SCGS n SNGS both IP goes to e same JC

Wow...Hello Belle07 mummy, wish your gal all the best for both audition !!! Jia you. :xedfingers: Udpate us after her SCGS audition. hi Belle07,

Congratulations to your daughter ! She has done very well, give her a big hug ๐Ÿ™‚ She has got short-listed for both SCGS (Dance) and St Nick (Leadership) domain. This year, St Nick received a lot, a lot more Dsa applications for Leadership, compared to last year (2018), hence it is really not easy to be short-listed for Leadership. Once again, warmest, heartiest Congratulations to both you and your girl ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks..
She is very happy she got an interview...

I would think SNGS got alot applicants cos when we went for e DSA talk.. e teachers said dun worry.. just apply.. dun know.. just apply n leave e rest to them to sort out.
They said impt is they will \"talk\" to e girls n see whether are they a fit to e school.
No need to prepare anything... some parent are like ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿคจ (me included)

Hi Belle07, school uniform is more appropriate. Shouldn't be outside clothing. All the best๐Ÿ™‚

Apparently, my DD knows better than me. Told me uniform plus prefect tie, in case they asked whether u prefect n y din wear tie.... lol

wow ! That's great !

Congratulations to tryourbest, Belle and several others, who have been short-listed for St Nick (IP Academic), as well as both (OP and IP) Leadership domain, notified in this evening's final, last batch sent out ๐Ÿ™‚

Academic is for IP, while Leadership apply to both OP and IP students.

Those of you during portal online submission, if had chosen no preference for Leadership, whether u want OP (4 years) or IP (6 years) :

During interview, the panel of interviewers will assess whether you are more suitable to study OP, or to study IP.

Tryourbest and Belle, are your interview scheduled on Saturday (20 July 2019) ?
All the very best to your daughters ๐Ÿ™‚

And off topic question... what do you wear there? School uniform or outside clothing?
Trial n Audition is straight forward but academic and leadership domain not so sure.
Dun want to be e odd one by clothing. Kids already stressup don't want this to add up to DD stress
