Distance and travelling time are my biggest concern. Many PCPS students like this school as well as Dunman. We might end up putting MS as 2nd choice.

Yes, all parents of P5/6 need to step up. I am also not sure why the graduation ceremony was also scraped. My boy and his classmates were all very disappointed.

This is my first year taking PSLE with my elder child. In the past, I always have the impression that those students getting above 250 are from the 2 top classes only. This is not true. It is in fact spread across the various classes.

While most students in A and B classes did well, there are also some who scored 22x and 23x.

Dear Parents, this year performance is exceptional! My son is from a below average class. There is no way he is able to DSA because his results is always around low 60%, sometimes even lower. I am so grateful and unbelievable that he took back a 24x, giving him a wider choices of secondary schools. It was just like a dream.


Many students did not even do well in the Prelim and top school papers vendor even rated our school prelim papers as ‘super easy’. This is demoralizing for many. Super easy papers yet the prelim results are horrible? How to sit for PSLE in a few weeks time?

Apart from the 70 students who got above 250, many students from average classes did well, with score greater than 240, some even did better than students from A and B classes. With hard work and determination, regardless which class you are in, it is possible for you to do well and I wish next year P6 all the best. You can do it too.

Nevertheless, this good showing is also because parents are investing more $$$ in tuition and I do not think I need to elaborate why the need to do so. Many parents already knew the changes that happened throughout this year, sending cold chill down our spine. It is finally over now.

I absolutely agree that all the key changes should be made only after hearing the feedback from parents. Too bad that it never happen. It is indeed rather disappointing.

Though my Son is graduating soon, I can feel for you parents. Do stay positive and I am sure you are able to support your children in other ways.

If your child is having too much free time now, you can source for tuition centers that give homework or discuss with tutor to assign more work. Nevertheless, do remember to balance work and play time.

For instance you can get ultimate science guide at below $10. You need to check frequently though as the listing usually get snapped up very quickly.
