Hi everyone. I’m wondering when you think it is a good time for a girl to start trying out ballet classes. And also, any recommendations for ballet classes near Bukit Merah / River Valley area?

    • RE: Nanyang Primary

Hello. My daughter qualifies to go to NYPS as my husband is an alumnus of the school. I didn’t study in Singapore (I’m a foreigner - PR) so I didn’t really appreciate the reputation that NYPS has until recently when a friend explained to me. So I’m curious to get feedback from those of you as I’m assuming you’ve all sent your kids to NYPS. Besides the rigour in academic education and the brand/reputation, what do you feel really differentiates Nanyang from other schools? I’m just really curious as, again, I have not gone through the education system in Singapore and I want to understand the value of the education that Nanyang provides. Thanks in advance!

    • RE: MY World (operated by Metropolitan YMCA)

So I posted here a few months ago considering infant care at MYWorld Tiong Bahru. I decided to go ahead and enrol my baby there at 5 months old (she’s now 7 months old). So far, she’s been doing well. She smiles at the teachers and looks really happy to see them. Moreover though, the teachers are incredibly kind-hearted and patient with all the babies. They also take your feedback well. She’s also never gotten sick there, even though there is A/C inside and she had been sick before at another infant care centre. Plus, I like that there are teachers from a variety of races and age ranges - good to see diversity.

I’m wondering though if anyone has feedback on PG at MYWorld. My impression so far is good but would love some feedback. Thanks!
