By the way what is the usefulness of attending this camps ?

Now that 2014 PSLE is over. Any feedback on the usefulness of these boot camp would be very much appreciative for 2015 p6 parents. 😂

      Hi hawkhoo

The amount of homework I would say is very little. Especially since they have moved away from major exams for the P1s. But, it will be good if you can practice more questions from assessment books to get more ready for the demands later on.

BTW, anyone knows where Pei Hwa will be shifting to? Last time, I heard they will not be shifting to the original assigned temporary premise due to traffic problem. But, have not heard any news since then.
I have not heard since as well....

Anyone with p3 kids noticed that they will be having ca1 science only and not others subject. How come? Any idea or is it a typo error in the comm letter?

Yes, only Sci for CA1, and not other subjects. Confirmed with my DD's form teacher. It's a blessing to me! *phew*

      thanks jofulhands!☺️

Dear senior PH parents, happy new year to you all! My dd and I are new to PH. Tomorrow will be her first day in P4 in PH. I am wondering whether cursive writing is allowed for P4 English in PH. Another question is are pupils requested to use pens for handwriting in all subjects? Do youP have time table for P4 students? I have not got science text books yet. Not sure whether there will be science lessons tomorrow or not. Thank you for your kind advice and guidance in advance!

Just checked with my daughter now p5. No cursive writing mentioned and I would assume that you can.. as my girl does not write cursive. Pen is needed for English and Chinese, while science depends on teacher. Math will be in pencil. First day of school, I told my girl to just bring the English, Chinese and math. All the coloured files are to be brought tomorrow just in case. So no science for my girl on the first day since school time table will be given tomorrow.

Thanks. I am wondering if it is still the case for top students to be in classes 6-9. Huh....

Only 8 classes. I believe 6-8 are still the top classes.

      Thanks for the replies...

P5 shld be based on HCL or NC. In the past, Loy 1 is the first class not taking HCL.

I see. In the case of primary 3, I am wondering how the teachers allocate the students.

In the past, based on P2 aggregate score. Not sure if there is a change this year.[/quote]Thanks. I am wondering if it is still the case for top students to be in classes 6-9. Huh....
