Typically, the form teachers will only start sending emails after the MTP session which is this Friday for P3s. During MTP session, the form teacher will collate email addresses and appoint 2 parent representatives who will then relay messages from the teachers to parents.Hi parents,
My daughter is a transfer student in P3 this year. Just wondering if parents received any email from the P3 level master yet? In her previous school, the level master sends out emails regularly to update parents, and there will be one at the start of the year. However, I have not received a single email from the level master or form teacher in SNGS yet. Thanks a lot! -

If there is no swimming lesson in St Nicks, how do they select and send girls for competition?
From my understanding from anther parent, her DD submitted her timings for the various events based on her personal swimming training outside the school and the school selects them based on that. There was no training conducted by the school at all. The girls will need to train on their own (by their personal swimming coach) and submit their training records to the school so that it can choose the girls for competition. :? Hence, credit should go directly to the girls and their outside coach rather than the school....vem137:
hi anyone knows if st nicks is using the swimsafer programme as in they have to learn swimming?

pinnacles:
95% and above is definitely not the norm for the top class. This only applies to the few top students in class (who are also the top students in the entire cohort). High 80% to low 90% should be the average in the the class. In SNG, 95% and above are very good grades. For 90 to 94%, are they considered average?
What are the expectation (%) when it comes to P3?
So much guessing game here....can't understand the rationale of letting parents know their kids' standing among the cohort and the highest aggregate for their cohort? It's for the good reason getting the girls setting a target/goal for themselves for the new year. -

:thankyou: so its P3 Charity, but was told by the other mum is P3Faith, so a bit confuse :?
Top class for P3 this year is P3Faith. For P5/6, it Charity according to my dds.MotherHen:
Dear Mummies, what is the Best /Top class in P3/P4?? Is it always the same for years to p5/p6??
If I'm not wrong, it changes every year, eg this year's top class could be P3 Charity, but next year it could be P3 Faith. But P3 progresses up to P4 as a class, and P5 progresses up to P6 as a class. So if you are in the best class in P3 or P5, you will technically be in the best class for 2 years. Not sure if this practise will change with the new principal though.
