Hi, if we stay slightly out of 2km from Ngee Ann Primary and falls in Phase 2C, ballotting would be required right? What about under the same phase but within 1-2km?

Alternatively, if I do parent volunteer (falls under phase 2B) but still stays slightly out of 2km, any ballotting required so far? Appreciate someone’s comment on this.

Hi Jenfoo_9, may I know if you register your girl under what phase? Did you have to PV in order to get your girl into HGS? Care to share? We are now staying within 1-2km from the school. your kind feedback is much appreciated.

Hi, thanks for sharing; I did heard some really good comments about the school. If the school does not accept PV, and I am staying within 2km, any idea if balloting is required? If there is balloting, how’s the chance like? Care to share?

Hi Tankee, thanks for the info. We are considering either Ngee Ann Primary or Haig Girls for my daughter. Anyone could share your opinion on both schools? A bit in a dilemma coz we have 2 kiddos - a girl and a boy. If NAP, then we can consider putting 2 kiddos in the same school. But my hubby is an ex-boy from Catholic High; which makes it a bit of a waste not to put our boy there (since I heard is a pretty good school). However, we all stay in the East hence sending him to Bishan would be a bit of a chore. Care to share, anyone?

Hi, can anyone share on their experince in PV for Haig Girls? Any advice, if we stay 1-2km from the school, Phase 2C has good chance? Reason of asking is if I need to PV, I will have to register with the school for PV programme by Jul 2012; and I really fancy the idea that parent has to PV, yet still has to go through balloting at the end of the day. Any advise will be much appreciated.

Hi can anyone share on their experience for PV with Ngee Ann Primary School? How’s the PV application process? Are they very selective? Also, if we stay >2km from the school, anyone could advise if it is worth to even PV coz I heard there are balloting for less than 2km? Any advise will be much appreciated.
