Our DD says that the FT told the class if they can't find the vendor, they can pass the registration and money to the FT.

We are signing up our DD as she as expressed interest in it. If she is interested, I usually will let her because I don't want to kill her interest.
I was worried she would be too tired, don't know how to buy lunch, etc, but she told me to just give her extra money to buy lunch. My dd is also very shy. Since this will help her be more independent, I'm all for it. Plus, I think workload in P1 still manageable. Good time to ease her into such after school \"enrichment\". šŸ™‚

I think I’m sending my girl to school in sch uniform on friday.

Her teacher says she has tingxie that day. Celebration concert is the last period during assembly.

I was just wondering, for this Friday's CNY celebration in school, are they suppose to wear school uniform or CNY clothes?

It's a normal school day. I think they wear school uniform.
My dd has tingxie that day.

      xrisgoh,

oh dear. Is your DD ok now? It is quite tough making new friends and sometimes kids can be unintentionally \"cruel\"...I mean, I remember when I was in P school, things like that happened too. šŸ˜ž I hope your DD will find her own friends soon.
My DD tells me she sometimes plays with girls from other classes too, not always those in her own class...those girls she knew from her kindy days. Once in a while, I try to ask her about how she is making friends in school and talk to her to remind her that if people are not nice to her, she will be hurt, but she don't have to be friends with those who hurt her. She can always find other people to be friends with who are worthy of her friendship.
      Hang in there!

      Jush,

I gave my dd $$ to buy the pen in the school bookshop because if teacher asked for it, surely it's sold in the school bookshop. She got her buddy to help her and she was so proud to have made her first purchase from the bookshop. šŸ™‚
Anyway, my hubby also went to Popular and found the eraseable green pen. šŸ™‚

*I just saw an email from the FT saying bookshop sells it at $2.40

      zarahsmom:

like today, i have some raisins in a cup cake holder, half sandwich (nutella), oranges peeled and cut- ready to eat, and sliced apples... separated by cup cake holders .
How do you make the food \"stay\" in the cupcake holder? I tried using it but worry everything will just tumble out as my dd puts her lunchbox in her sch bag.
I use other small containers to separate everything. Today I just ordered a bigger lunchbox online. šŸ˜›

      Starz,
Maybe you can go to the website to search? Our FT emailed us so we have her email addy.
