There are thrice as many roast chickens as ducks in a stall. They are worth a total of $420. The total cost of the roast chickens is $60 more than the total cost of the roast ducks. If each roast duck cost $10 more than each roast chicken, what is the cost of each roast chicken?

      Thank you.

      1) Mike made 18 pizzas more than Sam daily. Everyday, each of them gave away 7 pizzas to charity and sold the rest of the pizzas to a canteen. After some days, Mike sold 768 pizzas to the canteen whereas Sam only sold 336 pizzas to the canteen.

      a) How many days did Mike take to sell 768 pizzas to the canteen?
      b) How many pizzas did Mike make daily?

      2) Max and Ivan saved $828 altogether. 2/7 of Maxโ€™s saving was $120 more than 1/5 of Ivanโ€™s savings. How much more money than Ivan did Maxโ€™s save?

      3) Lyn baked 124 more chocolate muffins than banana muffins. After she gave away 25% of the chocolate muffins and 2/3 of the banana muffins, she was left with 138 more chocolate muffins than banana muffins. How many chocolate muffins did she bake at first?

      Thank you.

      bookwormkids:

Need help on the following questions.

      1)
Log A and Log B are of different lengths. A carpenter wants to saw them into equal number of shorter pieces. The length of each piece from Log A need not be the same as that of each piece from Log B. If he saw Log A into 1.2m pieces and log B into 0.9m pieces, he has no leftover from log A but there will be 0.6m of log B left. If he saw Log A into 1.6m pieces and log B into 1.25m pieces, he has no leftover from log A but there will be 0.6m of log B left. Find the length of log A.

      Thanks.
