In order to join National Competition, it depends greatly on the club. To my understanding, the club will need to have a few active referees who serve STF actively.

Not really, been to a few national comp and some clubs do not supply ref even though they suppose to.From understanding there are refs for hire. That's why ref courses are quite full.

My club has not able to join any national competition under STF due to we do not have register referees under our club.
You may start training and volunteer to be their referee.

Need to pay for the rental of the training area for CC or RC?
Fees about $35-40 for 3 months still need to split with PA?Tough ah!

35% include rental and admin works. that the reason why the class in CC and RC have bigger class.

Is Poomsae Coach course hard to clear? Once pass, can start looking for instructor job?
For my point of view Poomsae Coach course isn't hard, but u need to understand all the step of each poomsae up to taebak, basic stance, punch and blocks and accuracy / presentation of poomsae and how poomsae referee judge.
For Instructor job is very subjective of individual school, if their looking for poomsae coach only, that should be enough. however if you are intend to proceed further Korugi coach is essential aka SG-COACH level 1 (Techinal) . As this cert SG-COACH level 1 is issue by Sport Singapore.

I am referring to private centers with rentals and overheads, those classes in CC or RC or open space in HDB areas subsidize by PA/CC.
Depends on what you expect from the coaches/kids, if want to join competition or not.
If just need grading to achieve belt advancement then no concerns.

There are some private centers that offer quite attractive rates for kids, fixed amount a month but unlimited lessons in the month.

Hi, just for your understanding. Reason been the fees is kept reasonable price is for community engagement. All Course in PA/CC are not Subsidize, the fees you pay is all 65/35 ratio. which mean trainer get 65% and CC/RC get 35%.

Oh wow, I am paying for my 2 girls at $45 each for 3 months term at 90 min per lesson (typically 2hrs to 3hr) weekly.

Of cos, no air con and no floor mat. It's open air HDB badminton court.
So RC/CC no competition? Sure?

RC/CC can join competition, in fact there is a PA/STF competition that is only open to CC/RC/PA affiliates.
What I see is that the level and intensity of training is different for RC/CC classes vs private classes (most not all) so for competition the private schools tend to fare better.
Like I said, depends on what is your expectation

Just realised you are talking about STF. Then yes, not my expectation at all. My kids and I were in STF practicing as a sport, before they switch to ITF for self defence.
I believe for RC/CC will be depend of coaches, they can also participate National competition too. Matter the fact that all go to cost as Private class you pay more got more attention, RC/CC pay less and less attention.
