Need advice - I decided to pull my child out of ICR due to the increasing fees. May I know how other parents are guiding your children without formal phonics classes? Thank you!

Hello, based on observations, any risk for alumni staying 1-2km, especially with government's intention to give more seats to students who are staying nearer? Thanks.

Thanks for sharing! Can you share more on your thoughts about the not so balances curriculum/materials and what you think the switch can be?
It is less relevant to age.If you kid can recognize the sound for each alphabet very well, then he/she would progress to reading program level 1 soon. My girl starts at 4Y6M at pre-reading level 3 and promoted to reading level 1 very quickly within 2 months. It takes 12M to complete the level 6. If your kid progress well, he/she should be able to read independently before 6 year old. Personally I think the material needs a lot of improvement though the program is quite effective to teach kid to read. Once the kid can read fluently, then it is time to switch. I find the curriculum is very unbalanced and the teacher quality varies.ajus13:
Hi All...I am wondering what is the right age to enrol the kid for the I CAN Read level 1 to 6 programme. My DD is K1 this year and is 4 years 2 months. I heard from my friend, at K1 the programme might be tough for the kid and she might stay longer in the pre reading programme. My DD is just learning to blend words. Would k2 be a more appropriate age to join the I CAN Read Level 1 to 6 programme?

Hello, can anyone share why this school is always so popular? Is it because they focus on character building etc?

RE: Agape Little Uni
Hello any other feedback on Agape Cecil? Seems like the teachers don’t stay long and even the Principal MDM Lee is moving. I heard they currently have Mrs Mohan temporarily taking over as Principal until a new person is being identified.
Seems like they have students withdrawing from the centre all the time. Is that normal? -

Hello, I am thinking of a change of school to Alora Preschool at Lengkee CC. Does any parents have any feedback about the cc? Many thanks in advance

i went for a visit and felt that my mum can do a better job. the teachers don't seem qualified and it looked like infant care instead of childcare. the teachers were just watching over the kids, no interaction.
