Hi, during the orientation day, we did not stay long at the CCA open house. We just took some of the brochures. Any idea how do the boys sign up for CCA coz I check on website and no info on registering?

RE: St Margaret's Primary
Hi
Does anyone know what are the things the P1 girls need to bring on first day of school? Also I’m wondering if we are allowed to hang around to observe our girls for instance during recess time…
And does the school communicate regularly to update parents? We get principal’s letters frequently via email and also available on website. Not sure what is the practice of communication for SMPS?? -

Your ds also being offer both Exp and N(A) by MOE ?
Hi, my son got 205 and in the same dilemma. Anyways, I've checked and unfortunately we are not able to opt for NA stream.Buzzmom:
My friend's dd score is 202 and she is bring offer Express as well as Normal Academic. She still cannot decide whether to let her dd do Exp or N(A).
We try to analysis the book and noted that last year highest intake for N(A) in most school is 199. So will she be over qualify with 202 ?
Shd my friend let her dd take Exp but the sch selections are those not so \"good\" ones or shd she let her take N(A) but select those sch with better reputation and better student envoironments. My friend drives so distance is not really an issue for her.
Would parents that have undergone such experience share their views. Thanks.
Sorry is it you have called some Sec sch to check and they don't accept N(A) with score such as your ds 205 ? If this is the case then my friend's dd 202 also cannot opt for N(A).
My DS's stream is only Express and yes I called the school and they told me that we can't opt for NA unless he was given the E/NA option. -

RE: Secondary Schools Information in West Area
Hi
DS score is 205 and am aware of the limited choices of schools we are looking at in the West area like, BT Panjang, Bt Batok, CCK & Clementi. Some options shortlisted are:
1. Dunearn (cop 205 - 235)
2. Hillgrove (cop201 - 231)
3. Bt View (cop 205 -234)
4. chestnut drive (cop 193 - 232)
Anyone has any feedback about any of these schools? Are there any other suggestions of a relatively good school in the area with good, supportive principal, teachers, good discipline and overall positive character development?
Appreciate some advise and suggestions...

RE: Secondary School Selection 2013
Hi again
Since the reality is that my DS score is 205 - we are considering the following options:
1. Montfort (cop 207 - 243 for non affiliation)
2. Dunearn (cop 205 - 235)
3. Hillgrove (cop201 - 231)
4. Bt View (cop 205 -234)
5. chestnut drive (cop 193 - 232)
6. TBD
Anyone has any feedback about any of these schools? We are looking around the Bt Panjang, CCK, Bt Batok or Clementi area. With his score - is it risky to try include St Gabriel's or to even try for those like Clementi Town or Commonwealth? The preferred is all boys school but looks like there's not many options now...
Appreciate some advise... :scared: -

Same here for my DS. Really at a lossCan someone pls advice. My kid score 205 . We stay bukit timah area.
we would like to put :
1) swiss cottage
2) hillgroove
3) bukit view
4) newton
Was looking at some of the boys school like St Gabriel's but COP way off. Not sure if should just take the risk to include this and St Andrew's. As for other schools nearby...not familiar. And the ones we had in mind also has high COP like
Swiss Cottage
Commonwealth
Clementi Town
Fairfield
Anybody has any feedback about Assumption English and Dunearn Sec? Many thanks for sharing your thoughts...
